At heart we are a start up. Like many of our clients we are trying to make a business come to life. More preceisly though we bring other businessess to life by offerring a mechanism through technology. We select our clients carefully, and we hope they select us in return. We see ourselves as a part of a team of startup peoples. The excitement of invigorating persons inspires us to make awesome quality apps.
It all starts with a conversation. We meet and make sure our personalities jive. Working together for a few months or more requires teamwork. We will gather a high level understanding of your business concept and any documents or artifacts you think can help get us started.
We will provide a quote. If everything is to your liking a final contract for both parties to sign. There is no committements on either party, you can exit the agreement at any time, but it does serve as a memorandum of understanding and scope of work so as to set expectations. Then we work our butts off to bring your product to life. Hopefully this all ends in a big smile, a successful product/business and a good time for all..
The contract states why you hired us. It briefly explains your product or service to design. It explains our role and your role as the product owner. It details out the costs and finances. We become part of your team. With a small stake in your product we think it works best. We don't have a sizeable share so your still in charge but we do have some skin in the game. It brings down the costs as well to deliver an app.
We are an agile development shop. We deliver small pieces for you to access through a test version. Regular testing and feedback is encouraged to ensure everything is being designed acccording to wireframing and our functional design.
Its normal for design to change. On paper something might seem perfect but in reality when you test it out maybe we find a better way. We expect that and wont change our price. Our wireframing and functional design is meant to reduce the rework. It benefits both parties to put the upfront work into the design before we get started to give the best chance to release in a timely fashion. However, larger changes that are drastic not inline with the original concept or vision need to be discussed further.
